Springboard: Local assembly for creative climate action

This year's Springboard: Local assembly for creative climate action is themed around ‘Active Travel’.

We’ll be spending the day in and around Walkerburn Village Hall creatively learning, discussing and participating in workshops sessions around funding, inclusive active travel and collaborative project planning.

This is a partnership event with CABN, SBCAN and Creative Carbon Scotland.

As part of Springboard, Connecting Threads are runnning a riverside session with artists in residence – Coleman and Hodges.

We are also supporting a community bike ride, led by Hike & Bike Hub, from Walkerburn to Cardrona and back, with a stop on the river bank at Cardrona. This event is part of Hike and Bike Hub's Borders-wide Walking, Wheeling Festival (5th-8th September).
