Who is this for
Anyone with an interest in folk singing and experience of canoeing can sign up for this event. You will be expected to manage a canoe in groups of two with minimal instruction. Please dress appropriately for outdoor activity including wet weather and sunshine. The river is an exposed environment and care must be taken by individuals to stay healthy and safe.
You should leave valuables in your car or with the project coordinator who will stay on land. Be prepared for the possibility of getting wet and if possible, bring along spare clothes to change into afterwards.
Number of places
There is a maximum of 9 places available. Attendees must have previous experience of canoeing/paddling and be confident managing a canoe on fast flowing water in groups of two. Canoes and buoyancy aids will be provided. You will need to complete paperwork from the canoe leader when you arrive to confirm your experience and responsibilities for your own safety and conduct whilst taking part in this activity.
