Explore the world of pollinators through a new lens and create your own stunning images from the viewpoint of a bee.
A hands-on workshop exploring the pathways that pollinating insects take across our shared spaces. How do they navigate? How do they see the world? What are they attracted to? And what might the future hold for both pollinators and humans?
The workshop involves modifying our smart phones in a surprising way using borrowed lenses from laser pointers, kirby grips and sticky tape and taking them on an adventure on a riverside walk.
The workshop and walk will be led by Robbie Coleman and Jo Hodges, Connecting Threads artists in residence for the Middle Tweed.
Please note: You will need a smart phone for this workshop.
(Let us know in advance if you would like to come but don’t have a smart phone.)
Both adults and children are welcome to come along, but activities are most suitable for ages 10+. Any under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
